Kara’ is a creative venture with a social cause. The business idea is to create an exclusive brand of value added
products from traditional handloom cotton fabric (called thorthu) of Kerala, India, in order to revive and sustain
the fading market of the fabric by finding market solutions for them.
We work with Government cooperative weaving units in and around the state and small sets of rural tailors to
create handmade home furnishings and bath items of the highest finish and quality.
